Easter Egg Hunts and More This Weekend

For those in need of some last minute Easter ideas for the kiddies, here is a list of the big Easter egg hunts and other holiday happenings this weekend in NE Seattle:

The Seattle Parks Dept. is holding "Spring Egg Hunts" all across the city this Saturday at 10am. Best of all, the cost is free! NE Seattle locations include:

Other non-City events include, a hunt at the Wedgwood QFC on Saturday morning. The festivities there begin at 9am for kids ages 2-10. And the lone egg hunt actually being held on Easter appears to be happening at Thornton Place. Those interested should meet at the North Bridge of the Thornton Creek Water Quality Channel on Sunday at 1pm.

If you are  looking for activities other than a hunt, head over to Northgate Community Center. They are celebrating tonight from 6:30-8:30pm with their 4th Annual Bunny Sock Hop. Fee is $5 per family.

Also in Northgate, the Easter Bunny is hanging out at the mall and posing for pictures. Head over today or tomorrow, from 10am to 8pm, to get your photo taken before the holiday. Northgate Mall will be closed Easter Sunday.
